Here is some footage of Aeronca GB-1 Glide Bombs ("Grapefruit Bomb") being carried and employed by B-17s in a raid on Cologne, Germany, May 28, 1944. There are some particularly close shots (7 sec mark to 19 sec mark) of a B-17G (B-17G-55-BO, USAAF Ser. No. 42-102569) carrying two GB-1s (one under each wing root).

This footage has been posted by YouTube user hw97karbine. He has apparently been combing combat and military film archives and posting footage that I have never seen before, and I imagine, has been languishing for decades unseen. I highly recommend those here to check out what he has posted in recent months.

Interesting... Especially this:

The impact points are quite... in line. Maybe not perfect, but definitely not random, too. Seems that GB-1 was more underestimated, than I thought!
