some snaps from this years IPMS. ScaleModelWorld show at Telford ... Our main theme this year was 'cancelled and proposed RN. rotorcraft', tying in with the release of James Jackson's Blue Envoy publication on the subject, first up some of Geoff and Martins helicopter models built for the display

Great looking display!

If you could arrange to move SMW to Christmas next year, I could come :)

Nice displays,

now who's who in the pics, the only ones I recognize is Martin & Harro.

Thanks Harro - I thought it was Mike McEvoy but I wasn't sure I had the name right - not really spoken to him before.

Thanks Paul, should've recognized Chris Gibson and Tony Buttler though, being an Air-Britain member ---- plus having emailed them a few times ::)

Well he is the grandad of the What-if modelling community and loves project kits, he had three built models of the Fantastic Plastic Vickers Supermarine 559 on the What-If stand next to us

Mike's Vickers 559 models ...

Telford is a great event, it has to be experienced to believe it.
The Project Cancelled SIG tables were great and it was an honour to have inspired so many great models (even the ones that weren't ready for the show).

Seeing a project represented in 3-D form is great, and having not built a model since my wonky Sea King circa 1999, the level of skill model makers like Joe and Geoff have constantly amazes me!
