G'day, Blueprints are all over the wild wide web but the is always a certain amount left to the mark one eyeball. Does anyone have any data on roadwheel sizes and widths of the panzer 2 Luchs?

I have tried searching but no luck.

Thank you. I don't suppose you know how deep or width of the wheels was? I have usually guessed but it would be nice to know.

Sorry, but that's hard to read from a drawing, because the thickness of the wheels is
covert by the track. Perhaps a photo taken from a slantwise position could help
(https://www.flickr.com/photos/paopix/10520294404)
My result would be between 85 und 100 mm thickness, but that's a guess based on
an estimation ... :-[

Seems to be a dimension, that is rarely given. Interesting question in a field, I'm not
really experienced in.
Here http://www.panther-panzer.de/PanzerII/PanzerIIL.htm track width (Kettenbreite)
is given as 360mm. Those single roadwheels are running either on the inner, or the outer part of the track,
the double ones in the middle, between those strips (sorry, I don't know the correct term here), good
recognisable in that photo via http://www.panzer-modell.de/referenz/in_detail/pz2l/gal1.htm.
That gives the maximum width to the roadwheel to less than 360/4 mm.

Thank you for your assistance, much appreciated. I had not come across that site before so my resource list has just got bigger which makes things much easier.

In English the individual block in a track is simply called a track link.

I found a model build tut which has excellent views of many parts which I attach here in case it is of use, in PDF format. It is in its original format here. https://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/classyhobby/mc16001.html

Very grateful to find this tidbit.
