Hesham, we have a years long problems with you:

1). You've found something, asking for help to understand what is it - then may be you'll provide a link to original paper, not only a cropped picture?
2). this is not NASA report - this is report from DTIC, more concrete - AEROPHYSICS COMPANY report for U. S. AMY AVIATION MATERIEL LABORATORIES
3). Picture caption clearly shows you reference 22 L, this time being US patent 2973167A by Harry F. Lake
https://patents.google.com/patent/US2973167
What has stopped you from not only reading caption, but going further and read the damn reference?
THIS IS NOT FCUKING AIRCRAFT patent, Hesham. This is just boundary-layer control rotor shown on GENERIC aircraft.
GENERIC. Do you know the meaning of this word?

Please next time before you post something under title 'Lake Unknown Hypothetical Aircraft' think twice.

I know that my dear Flateric,

so I put it in this section.

Did you? I'm pretty sure it was in the Postwar Projects section before I renamed it and moved it.

it was in Theoretical and Speculative Projects

OK my dears and I understand your point,

and please come down,I didn't know it was a patent concept.
