I have a handle on most BAe Brough designs from P.160 (anything before that would be Hawker Siddeley), but I have eight that I have no details for:

P.162
P.166
P.172
P.172-76
P.179-80

If anyone has anything on these (preferably along with a reference source), I would appreciate it.

My dear Ursrius,

here is some explanation from Tony Butler's books.

The P.162 was a variable-cycle engine configurations of 1979

Hesham,

Thanks. I do have almost all Buttler's books (including all of the BSP series), but you may notice they do not cover the aircraft I ask about. Where does the information on the P.162 come from.

Maybe Roy Boot's "From Spitfire To Eurofighter"?

Yes it's; Maybe Roy Boot's "From Spitfire To Eurofighter"?

So it is!! I should have looked harder, but I forgot it went past Hawker Siddeley. Thanks for the reminder.
