Does any body have any information on this vehicle that appeared on ebay?
Searching the web has lead to no information at all.

(added) Just meant to ask, what was it intended for?

That might be the Suspension Research Vehicle that is mentioned in The Tank Factory.
If so, it was to investigate active suspension, but according to the book it used a CVR(T) hull. It used Citroen two-stage gas springs to control hull pitch and heave. This was followed by a semi-active system developed by Lucas.

Does that look like a Scorpion hull?

Chris

Definitely not the Scorpion-derived one. The Tank Factory has a picture and it's a tracked vehicle.

Not much more, but this thread has a different picture and a post by someone who says they worked on it.

I can't think of anything that fits the 1971-74 timeframe, its a long time after projects like TV.1000 and CVR(W).
Maybe something for deep wading?

Thanks guys, for the info. It enabled me to discover this picture, which appears to be of the vehicle.

According to a recent (May) post on the above thread, it changed hands again on ebay earlier this year.

There were two suspension research vehicles, SRV1, the wheeled vehicle and SRV2 a modified CVRT tracked vehicle
