Here's a model number and document prefix listing from a very old log book found in Convair files in Fort Worth during a research project conducted in Summer 2017. Whoever moderates this section. please feel free to update the master list accordingly.

Thanks a lot, TeddySalad. I will rework the lists that are in the "Convair model numbers" and "Convair report numbers" topics accordingly.
That's a very interesting and highly valuable document, for sure, one which confirms a few theories (notably the fact that the numbers for Consolidated aircraft still in the inventory had not been reused) but also poses as many problems as it solves.
[list type=decimal]
[*]Report numbers having letter prefixes starting with the letter "F" were apparently for the Fort Worth division, but what of the other divisions? Did they use plain Z*- report numbers?
[*]If Model 8 was originally the Convair-Liner series, was the reuse of the same number for the F-102/F-106 fighters a way to increase the chance for these highly secret aircraft go unnoticed?
[*]Was Model 36-1000 only the initial designation of the YB-60? In other sources it is stated that it was the Model 11.
[*]Why would Convair list the Douglas C-54 Skymaster in their models list? Did they do any subcontracting work on this type?
[*]Also, the Model 54 designation was reused for NX-2 CAMAL nuclear-powered aircraft proposal [WS-125A], so again, perhaps a way to conceal it in the documents?
[*]Why would Convair make mistakes on their own documents? Still, they obviously got mixed up between the Model 110 (forerunner of the Model 240) and the Model 112 (the forward sweep wing A-44 and B-53 projects).
