Connectivity issues?
« on: February 01, 2018, 03:15:50 am »
I am experiencing intermittent disappearance of Secretprojects for the last ~5 hours.  "server not responding".
I wonder if the forum or its ISP is experiencing problems, or if it's on my side?

Same here - occasional dips in availability.

Same here. It abruptly dropped out and I could not get back to the site at all. Everything else on the internet checked out as OK.

Yes it comes and goes. I wonder if it could be related to Paul's upcoming site revamp?

For the past three days now I've had problems getting on to the site. Usually comes back after an hour or two, once I'm on there's been no trouble with drop outs . . .

cheers,

Re: Connectivity issues? - Resolved

There were problems with the hosting company's physical server after applying the OS patches for Spectre/Meltdown. This was causing my virtual server to power down unexpectedly at least once a day. It stayed off until I turned it back on manually hence the downtime. I worked with the hosting company and it was resolved.
