In 1939 an engineer from pb 116 (Tupolev aviation plant 156) made two projects
- fighter with folding wing and
- four engines bombers

That wing-fold geometry pre-dates (Homebuilt) Dyke Delta by 20 years.

That is a very advanced design - reminds me of Junkers designs from '44-45.

I suppose this counts as a biplane?

It'd be very interesting to get more information on the shape of the second extendable wing!
