There was a project for a hovercar that spent a long time taking money from investors and going nowhere, apart from the instigator going to jail for fraud, this strikes me as going the same way. There are always going to be new emperors new clothes frauds going on, we just have to avoid becoming victims.

The level of detail required has not been reached for this to be even half way realistic. If you want a new siut and like to walk around naked by all means, invest. However, a session with a shrink might just see you lose less money and feel better.
