Was reading Wikipedia's N1 article when something interesting came up.

The N1 was the largest of three proposed designs; the N2 was somewhat smaller and intended to compete with Vladimir Chelomei's proposed UR-200, and the much smaller N3, which would replace Korolev's "workhorse" R-7 rocket. At this point the N-series was strictly a "paper project".

I've never heard of the N2 or the N3, and a quick search here and on Google shows me nothing. Is this just fake stuff inserted, or are these real?

Korolev's Idea was simple:

Use the Upper stages of N1 rocket as Smaller Launcher
by use of one and same Hardware it would have reduce production cost for Launcher in USSR

N1 - 82t payload moonrocket
N11 - 25t payload like UR-500 proton
N111 - 5t payload like R-7 Soyuz

what looked something like that

and Vladimir Komarov land on Moon first on 4 July 1969, during Apollo 11 checkup on Launch pad

Asif Siddiqi Challenge to Apollo calls these rockets N-11 and N-111 (AFAIK). not N-2 or N-3. Astronautix isn't a reliable source.
