From Kryl'ya Rodine 1-2/2017,

there was an attempt to convert the Ilyushin Il-28U into UTB by Yakovlev
company,and to be powered by two Klimov RD-500 engines.

It isn't, and never was a "conversion". Also it isn't connected with Ilyushin at all. It was absolutely different, independent and all-new design, much smaller, lighter and cheaper than Il-28U, only similar in purpose.
