Hi,


here is a report from DTIC for Boeing-Vertol tilt-rotor projects,they called it D213,and I don't
know if it was meaning BV.213 or not,also the Helijet design.

It is interesting that jet engines are added to the tilt rotor

They might cause increase of complexity and weight

but also given a high performance to the aircraft.

According to my lists, BV-213 was a V/STOL Tilt/Stowed-Rotor aircraft project. A 1/9-scale conversion model with reduced-stiffness wingspar was tested. It most likely resulted from one of the D213 studies.
