Great all around reference. This massive book describes all sorts of flying craft made in Austria: airplanes, helicopters, gliders, balloons, dirigibles, etc. Each model is typically described in a few paragraphs, with one picture and medium sized three-view drawings.
- Aviation in Austria until 1918 Österreichs Luftfahrzeuge – Geschichte der Luftfahrt von den Anfängen bis Ende 1918, by Reinhard Keimel, Weishaupt, 1981, ISBN 3900310033
Same author as above. This book is said to cover all aspects of early Austrian aviation.
