Hi All -

I found the following drawing in Gerald Balzer's collection for a proposed "Super Snark" which initially was geared towards a Mach 3.0 speed but later upped to Mach 3.5. Imagine disposing of a J-58 or J-93 each time you sent a Super Snark on its way!

Enjoy the Day! Mark

Just a thought... were there any ideas about equipping the basic subsonic "Snark" with ATRAN low-altitude control system, designed for MGM-13 "Mace"? So the missile would went under astro-inertial system to pre-determined point, then dive to low altitude, activate her ATRAN, and went at 300 ft guided by radar map? It would solve rather nicely both the accuracy problem and vulnerability problem even for mid-1960s (albeit the range would drop... but more economical turbofan engine could probably solve that)
