why not a6m with mitsubishi ha-112 engines

why not a6m with mitsubishi ha-112 engines ?
I don't know if during development of Mitsubishi A6M , any engineer had proposed to install Mitsubishi Ha-112 engines instead Sakae engines !

I know that model , but ha-112 engines there was since september 1943   ( prototype of Ki-96) .

I read somewhere that Jiro Horikoshi originally wanted the Kinsei 46 engine instead of the original Zuisei 13 that was installed in the A6M1.
