Under the Aeroprogress, ROKS-Aero, and Khrunichev flags many projects with a T.... number have appeared over the years. Last count I have is at least 69, several of which were actually built (T-101, T-411 etc.).
Is anyone able to explain the relationship between these companies or when they were named or renamed or founded etc. Seems the Khrunichev organisation played a major role.
Thank you for answering this simple question ;D

Excellent question, walter. Maybe ucon may give us insight into the relationships of these entities. Further, why do these aircraft have a T- designation?

We have it in this topic;

Unfortunately, I am experiencing issues like Stargazer2006, does this topic explain the relationships between Aeroprogress, ROKS-Aero, and Khrunichev, igor-mich?

Until someone can come up with a satisfying explanation to the Aeroprogress/Khrunichev puzzle, here is my attempt at a very basic list. Can anyone add to it?

T-2072 apparently a mistake for T-2002

Hi Stargazer,

I want the list to be completing, and for the sources its many sites and books,
I can mention all of them now.

Okay, I've added most of the ones you mentioned, hesham (I actually had them on my computer but had missed out one major source document).

However, I'm still in need of sources for the following:
  • T-409
  • T-502
  • T-520
  • T-2000
  • T-2010
I believe "T-2072" is a mistake for T-2002 (just go back to the appropriate topic and you'll see the correct designation in the photo).
I believe "T-712" is a mistake for T-752, as evidenced by the comparison of related images, showing the project to be identical.

Quite a few additions today...

Only your "T-409" remains unfound now, so I guess it was a mistake. The rest have been incorporated.

Soon a DETAILED list with a short description of each type...

Hi all!
All the T-series projects, under whatever label - are creations of the same design team. It was established about 1990 and included about 30 employees (most of them came from Sukhoi, some from Mikoyan and Myasischev). The chief designer was Yevgeniy Grunin, known for his 1973-built ESKA-1 light ekranoplane.

Since 1995 to 2009, the OKB was placed on the territory of Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center and was known as Khrunichev-Aviatekhnika.
