The Convair ATT tri-jet proposal has been seen before on this forum, but I must say the Vought one was new to me...

These diagrams have been cleaned/enhanced/reworked from this report:

Thought I would post this for a comparison to the Vought designs above.

I recently came into possession of a unique model of the Convair ATT airliner from the estate of a close friend. This model was produced in the General Dynamics model shop in the late 1960s/early 1970s and was likely built by one of the two gentlemen that hired me to work there in 1986. Before receiving the model, the only images I had seen of the concept is the one seen here on the forum and a single picture of this model in the files at work.

One of the last airliner concepts entertained by GD/Convair.
