More about KirovRampager (a.k.a. Gralin Stewart) who did the profile artwork: she is an ex-RAAF reservist who says she has "turned (her) interests to civilian aircraft and drawing".

To my question: "Did you find any original Japanese line art or plans for the Q3W1? It seems to be very difficult to find any image of it!" here is what she answered:

Quote
The plans I used were incredibly tiny, like a 260 by 300 sized image; I had a hard time using it to make this.

This confirms, if need be, how difficult it is to find any correct image of the Q3W!

What is Q2(W?)?"

I believe Q2 is the Mitsubishi Q2M "Taiyō" derived from the Ki-67 Hiryu. So it's Q1W1, Q2M(1), and Q3W(1). but only the Q1W1 saw production and service.

Many thanks! Sorry for my low level question.

Dear Sirs,

As for Nankai Q3W, as far as I know, there is no photo and original drawing discovered yet.
Only image drawing or sketch are.
Anyway, I and my coauthor will release the book including Q3W, Q2M and Q1W, hopefully around June 15 this year
from Mushroom Model Publications.  I hope you enjoy the book.

Regards,
Ryusuke

I am looking forward to it also. I hope someone produces a 1/48 scale model kit of the Q1W1 Lorna as well.

I'm with you there.  I assume this reference:  https://www.scalemates.com/kits/100549-az-model-az4842-kyushu-q1w1-lorna  is incorrect.

GTX, apparently it is incorrect. AZ website does not mention it. A Google search only lists the Scalemates web site. My guess is the company pre-announced it and Scalemates made an entry for the kit but it never happened. The only kit I'm aware of is the Fine Molds 1/72 kit.
