Hey I'm new here so shouldn't complain.

But it did take over 3 weeks between signing up for this site and getting an administrator approval to join.

I don't know what was going on in the background, or if the moderators were busy with outside life, but it sure was confusing to see an apparently active website yet get no response when signing up other than email saying that my application was waiting for approval.

I'm pleased to be allowed to join but potential members could be warned that one must have some patience if one expects to join the exclusive club here. :)

Yup, lots of bad registrations, plus very busy. I was approving obviously good users, but the ones with random looking names/emails needed investigation. I'm afraid that included you.
