I found the name of Dr Oestrich (of BMW and ATAR jet engines fame) in connection with sub research done at Decize. Main people in the sub team were Mr Drisen and Mr Schmitt .
I cannot find any reference to this work in Mr Uwart book on French use of german sub technology after WW2 and I wonder what it was all about ? (I assume something to do with sub engines?) So I am most puzzled ?
can someone shed some light on this ?
