S-54/55 were formally offered to South Africa. They scored quite highly in the technical assessment but were eliminated on other grounds.

What's the MGA-T in it (see point 4.1.7)? A 'misprinting' MiG-AT?

My dear boxkite,

Please notice that MiG had anther two trainer aircraft, ATTA with
Promavia and New Trainer (in Osprey encyclopedia of russian
aircraft).

Hi,

and there was also Promavia-3600a single seat ground attack
version of Model-3000.

Yes the ARA-3600 but MiG never got involved in that one, contrary to the ATTA3000.

From my archives, an early design iteration. The more interesting ones are those signed by Belyakov in 1993 but I cannot release those unfortunately.

Another designation was the ATTA-4000 for the ATTA variant powered by two Williams-Rolls FJ-44 engines. The ATTA-3000 designation was for the original AlliedSignal TFE109-2 or -3 powered version and seems to have been Promavia's designation, Mikoyan having used izdelye 815.

Luc/aka Machdiamond -

The ATTA3000 is quite attractive - trying to understand how the engine(s) are faired into the belly. Do you have an underside and rear view that you can share?

Thanks! Mark
