Hi, am new here, I just had to join, looks like fun... :D
Q. Rockwell C-1057, some one is having a laugh, :D :D :D right? I have stuidied spaceflight/travel since I could walk/talk/pee on my own  , I have more book's than enough, all three editions of Dennis Jenkins ;D excellent work on the Space Shuttle, but have never, ever seen this design, come on its a wind up.... the nearest thing to this shape is the Burnelli series of transports from the 1930's-40's...
Your thoughts gentleman please...
Regards, best wishes and thank you for listening (reading)

My thought? Its not a shuttle, its a sized-up adapter for vacuum cleaner! :D

I´m not building models at all, but this one looks really good.

Only insofar as it was a somewhat smart-ass answer by Rockwell designers to the question of shortening the Shuttle. They knew it wouldn't get accepted, but it was, seemingly, a good way to get management off their back.
