Remember the time when we hardly knew what stealth would look like? Well, advertisers were keen on imagining stealth aircraft for us... Here are two ads taken from Aviation Week and Space Technology circa 1989-90. I have a few more if anyone's interested.

A second GEC-Marconi Avionics advertisement. The previous one was dated December 6, 1993. This one is dated July 26 of that same year. Interestingly, I have the same ad as published on August 23, and the catchphrase "The Art of Darkness" was replaced by "The Art of Stealth". I guess "darkness" wasn't such a cool commercial argument...
