Hi,

X-04 Kunang 25 was light sport aircraft.
X-05 Super Kunang 35 was developed from above.
X-06 Kindjeng 150 was sport autogyro.
X-07 Kunang 50 was developed from Kunang 35.

Thanks Hesham. By the way, many of these designs were originally attributed to AURI or LAPIP which predate LIPNUR.

In his book, Harapan dan Tanggapan Pemerhati dan Mitra, R.G.W. Senduk gives a slightly different list for these 'X' numbers. I've incorporated these differences into my type list below:

X-01 - NU-200 Sikumbang (Bee), light armed reconnaissance aircraft
- aka Si Kumbang, prototype with 200 hp DH Gipsy Six Srs.1
- NU-225 Sikumbang aka Sikumbang-02, 225 hp Continental O-470
- NU-260 Sikumbang, [? 260 hp Continental IO-470 ?]

X-02 - rotary wing glider (presumably meaning an unpowered gyroplane)

X-03 - NU-85 Belalang, Piper L-4J mod. as a low-winged basic trainer, 1958
- aka Belalang 85 (Grasshopper)
- NU-90 Belalang aka Belalang-90 (90 hp Continental 0-200-A model 90 A engine
- 0-200-A later replaced by 100 hhp Continental 000-200 - A model 1990(Grasshopper)

X-04 - NU-25 Kunang (Firefly), single-seat low monoplane, tapered wing, 25 hp Volkswagen
- aka Kunang-25 (Firefly 25), open cockpit, fabric-covered wooden construction
- aka LIPNUR Kunang-kunang

X-05 - NU-35 Kunang (Firefly), single-seat ultralight, straight wing, 35 hp Volkswagen
- aka Kunang-35 (Firefly 35), cockpit canopy, fabric-covered wooden construction
- aka Super Kunang I

X-06 - NU-150 Kindjeng, single-seat autogyro, 1964, aka Kindjeng-150
-- Note: may be Bensen B-8M although this is usually listed as B-8m Kolentang

X-07 - NU-50 Kunang (Firefly), 2-seat Kunang 35 development, 1965
- aka Kunang 50 (Firefly 50), aka Super Kunang II (Super Firefly II)

X-08 - Manjang (or Manyang), single-seat helicopter, Continental, first hover 1964
- http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,11352.msg107717.html

X-09 - hovercraft, 3-seater 1967, modified into XHV-02 (first hover, 1969)

The Experimental Hovercraft Vehicles had their own designation series:

XHV-01, four seater developed with the Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU)

XHV-02, three-seater, modified X-09, preserved in the TNI-AU Museum

Dear Hesham and Apophenia,
thank you for the X series from Indonesia, very interesting stuff ;D.
In my notes I have a first flight date of 15 January 1965 for X-07/NU-50, but I have never seen any picture of this 2-seater and I honestly doubt whether it was actually built/flown.
Any ideas!
