Hi all...
I’m in the process of tracking down 3-view drawings of Japanese secret project aircraft, intending to do profile sets.

So far I have..
Kawasaki Ki64
Kawasaki Ki78
Mansyu Ki98
and
J4M1 Senden

If anyone could suggest appropriate camo schemes and markings for these I would be most grateful.
As per my previous profiles I would like to do them as though in service rather than in prototype schemes.

Plus if anyone could help me expand my 3-view collection again I would be delighted.

Many thanks
Peter

there have been a series of 1/144 mini-kits of some of these aircraft

with mostly boring (but realistic) green-everywhere markings but also some nice colour schemes

Didn't some of the late war interceptors defending the home islands wear just baremetal/silver colors with bright unit markings? I know that some of the Ki-61s had irregular green "splotches" painted right over the baremetal/silver. Might be two options for something different than just all-over green.

Thanks for your excellent work flitzer.

There's a lot of Japanese aircraft colour on:

choose 'Art & Drawings'

Success!

There are some Japanese "1946" drawings at the following link, which it turns out, is now a part of the J-aricraft site (JIC you didn't find it).
