Boeing Vertol BV-307 commercial helicopter project

Has one of you ever heard of a Boeing Vertol BV-307? Robert Redding and Bill Yenne wrote in their “Boeing – Planemaker to the World” book about this commercial (passenger) helicopter – a bigger one, seating 225. “The BV-307 would be operational by 1989,” was the company’s dream.

Is more information available (specifications, 3-view, images)?
 
Would have been really large, the largest civil proposal I've found is a 100 passenger
version of the Model 298 flying crane. The model 299 would have had a payload 3 -
4 tons higher, but a civil version of it isn't mentioned in AviationWeek 1/68.
Chronologically the model 307 should have come a little bit later, perhaps 1969 ?

That means 20 years for development, construction, tests and certification ... ???
 
FLIGHT International of 26 May 1966 published an illustration
with a bit of text about two large Boeing-Vertol helicopter projects.

-model 237 : a crane-personal carrier project designed for external transportation of large vehicles and materials.

-model 227 : resembles the CH-47A but is much larger and will carry
internal cargo.It is particularly suited to long range and high speed
recquirements.

In the illustration the Chinook is literal dwarfed by the 237 and 227.
 
You're probably speaking of this model photo, published in Aviation Week1966 18-26,
too, but 1966 is even further away from 1989, than 1969.
Although, nowadays 23 years for such a project would be quite realistic, I think.
But were there engineers at Boeings in the sixties, that were realistic enough ? ;D

The mentioned book was published in 1983 (my copy is the revised and updated edition from 1997, but the chapter with the BV-307 seems not to be revised). The authors told about a BV-234-68 (-> for 68 pax), "but Boeing Vertol plans to beat even that". So I believe the BV-307 is a child of the late 1970s, early 1980s.

OK. I have a boxload of Boeing reports for NASA on civil V/STOL aircraft designs from the 70's and early 80's; they often included helicopters. I'll poke through them over the next fewe days and see if there was a 250-seater. These reports didn't generally include company model numbers, however.
