What is the speed of the new Tide class tankers. At the end of last year I read a newspaper article which stated it speed as 15 knots. A few days ago I was playing around on Wiki and noticed on there the speed quoted as 26.8 Knots. I've since looked on a number of sites including the Royal Navy site, which also stated a speed of 26.8 knots. This seems to be high for the RN or more accurately the RFA. Even the Fort class AORs were only capable of 22 knots.
