Hi,

the Hitachi HT-3 was a twin-engined high speed medium
passenger transport aircraft project of 1939,the aircraft
entered the mock-up stage,but later abandoned.

very impressive aircraft this Hitachi HT-3! it shows that Japan was among the best in the world .especially the clean lines are very beautiful.Its a pity that this project never gets out of its mock-up stage.
I was wondering is there more info about this aircraft? Ill hope there is for example are there pics of the mock-up ore more drawings of this machine was there a military version of this type? I cant believe they don't thought about it,because it looked very fast!

Hi! The Fukuda/Hitachi HT-3 Research glider. It was a 60% scale HT-3 Research glider.(single seater)
HT-3's estimated specifications were as follows.
Engine:Air cooling inverse V-12 type, 400hp×2, crews:2, passengers:8, cargo weight:120kg, max speedver 300km/h, cruising speed: over 250km/h, Rangever 1,200km, MTOW:4,500kg, take off/landing run:under 300m, service ceiling:6,000m
