It has come to my attention that there is not a thread for the AMX-40, so I decided to make one. Here is a cutaway for the design as well as the E4/40 turret variant offered to the Egyptians. I also found a pic that compares the evolution of design from AMX-30 to AMX-56 Leclerc.

Does anyone have any additional information on the proposed Egyptian variant of AMX-40? All I know is from the Wiki page, which says that it had a new better protected turret and thicker frontal armor.
