IS1 is 150-182-passenger aircraft was presented at MAKS by 'Russian Aviation Consortium'. It's being designed in partnership with MATI (Moscow Aviation and Technology Institute), SibNIA (windtunnell tests also being carried in TsAGI), UTAIR Airlines. Preliminary first flight date is 2015.

it looks like that this fuselage shape might be able to be stretched slightly by the classic system of inserting frames fore and aft of the wings - at least easier then the bwb's form boeing and airbus

I'm looking for more info on this.
IS-1 Sterk, TsAGI, I believe. It's possible it was taken into the firm that started the Ecojet.
IDK if there's a thread about long after the war, Russian civil designs...
