Hello!

I´ve reading in a polish website about some polish projects of different types of postwar aircrafts

http://powiat.mielec.pl/poser/samoloty/index.htm

But sadly the links to the illustrations are broken. Anybody know something more about it?

There is two of them:

Info about the Altair Pirania (the original source was this: http://www.powiat.mielec.pl/poser/samoloty/pozostale2/pirania.htm):

HISTORIA
Projekt taniego samolotu pola walki Pirania opracowany w 1991 w Instytucie Lotnictwa przez inż. Tomasza Makowskiego.
KONSTRUKCJA
Płat: Półskorupowy, metalowy. Jednoczęściowy, trójdźwigarowy między gondolami silników i dwudźwigarowy do końcówek. Dwuszczelinowe klapy semi-Fowler i szczelinowe lotki obu skrzydeł wzajemnie zamienne.
Kadłub: Metalowy, półskorupowy.
Kabina: Jedno- lub dwumiejscowa, opancerzona, szyby pancerne.
Usterzenie: W układzie T, całkowicie metalowe, stery zunifikowane.
Sterowanie: Linkowo-popychaczowe.
Podwozie: Chowane hydraulicznie, częściowo wystające dla ochrony płatowca w przypadku awarii systemu wypuszczania.
Awionika: 3 zestawy awioniki o różnym poziomie złożoności.
NAPĘD
2 silniki turbośmigłowe w układzie pchającym, nad płatem, o mocy 550-1100 kW. Zbiorniki paliwa o pojemności 850 dm3
UZBROJENIE
Stałe - działko GSz-23 kal.23 mm, podwieszane - na 8 lub 9 węzłach podskrzydłowych.
DANE TECHNICZNE
Rozpiętość 11,5 m
Długość 11,5 m
Wysokość 4,00 m
Pow. nośna 22,0 m2
Masa własna 1800 /1890 kg
Masa całkowita 5000 kg
Prędkość maks. 602 km/h
Prędkość min. 160 km/h
Czas wznoszenia 35,0 m/s
Pułap >10000m
Zasięg 4000 km

The description seems to point at an aircraft like an enlarged Antonov An-14, using components
of the Heinkel He 111 and BMW Bramo 323 engines, size probably a little bit smaller than the Arado 232.

May be my dear Jemiba, but it means also;there is anther project, the CSS-14 ?.

Here are pictures of the first airplane to use name 'Bies', which was to be a aerobatics-training aircraft designed by LWD in the late 1940s as well as of two versions of Bies designed by Tadeusz Sołtyk some 10 years later, and rejected in favour of more conventional layout that eventually was built in quantity.

Who has a drawing to this CSS-15,a transport and communication aircraft project ?
they called a Polish Beverley.

A bit of googling, a trip to a library, few minutes with a scaner and here it is: CSS-15 in an original drawing dated 14 October 1948 with a signature of its designer Jerzy Teisseyre.

Cheers,
Piotr

If my memory serves me well a source I know sais that "CSS-14" was presumably an original designation of a project that then became CSS-15.
My guess is the project under CSS-14 designation could have had different configuration than CSS-15.

The CSS-15 in the drawing I posted represents its variant with BMW-132 engines; there was also a variant with Bramo-323 Fafnir engines.

The Leaper link is well worth the visit. Even without speaking Polish, Google Translate of the main text and the many additional drawings, including of a two-seater, show a very interesting design and a real effort to simplify the structure and assembly. Thanks for sharing, Hesham.

Interesting, as at least the two-seater would qualify in most countries
for the ULA category.

Here's a current project from PZL Swidnik:
Polish manufacturer PZL-Świdnik has announced plans to fly an unmanned/optionally-piloted version of its single-engined SW-4 helicopter, revealing the development during the 3-6 September MSPO exhibition in Kielce, Poland.

"The maiden flight of the Solo prototype, in a piloted configuration, is expected not later than June 2013," said Nicola Bianco, managing director of the AgustaWestland-owned company. "But we want to fly it earlier."

The Solo is a development of the SW-4 Puszczyk trainer, 20 of which are used by the Polish Air Force Academy in Deblin.

Świdnik last year began piloted flight tests to collect the data needed to develop an unmanned version, with software development for its flight management system and ground control station being conducted by AgustaWestland in Italy.

Powered by one Rolls-Royce M250 C20R/2 engine producing 457shp (336kW), the development would be capable of performing a range of military and law enforcement tasks, carrying surveillance and communications equipment. It could also be armed for some battlefield duties, or fly cargo supply and medical evacuation sorties.

Sources suggest that the Italian armed forces could have a requirement for the Solo, although no official requirements have been published.

Please see this info about Polish Gotha-242,as CSS-242M;

After the Second World War, the Polish western territories taken over a number of transport glider Gotha Go-242 .From 1946-1947 put forward in the press aviation proposal to use gliders Go-242 by motorized road constructions on the two lobes of the BMW-132 engines with a capacity of 588 kW (800 hp), also from the spoils of war. The concept, of course, combined with the relevant design work and the construction of adaptive robots airframe. In 1948, the conversion of a glider Gotha Go-242 was developed in the Construction Group Dedicated CSS in. Renumbered aircraft designed CSS-242m. The proposal, however, went unnoticed, without arousing much interest.

M-9 Ziemowit* trainer project of 1959 (construction team: Stanislaw Jachyra, Adam Borowski, Marek Augustynik) from PZL-Mielec. Span 8.15m, length: 9.2m. It was to be powered by the TO-1 jet engine (by Tadeusz Mirski) that was to develop 400kp thrust.

* Ziemowit is a Polish male first name, also known as a name of a legendary ruler of ancient Poland.

The fuel tank capacity of 15 cm 3 provided a flight time to 5 min. lotu- height of 30 mm. Max- speed of 25 km / h. Founded version of this hovercraft KK-4-63.
In 1974. Krzysztof command worked on a large hovercraft. After many years, in 2004. Again he worked on a large hovercraft.

Hi,

Mr. Jerzy Cisowski was a small designer,in 1990 he began with construction of S-1 Swift,
a single-seat shoulder-wing glider,followed by Twist Master,anther single seat glider,but
remained a project, the Tukan was a high-wing cabin sporting monoplane project of 1995,
later the Remos G-3 Mirage was a ultra-light high-wing monoplane,built and flown in 1997.
