I have reorganized the Beriev topics a bit.

After updating my Beriev list I remain puzzled by some of hesham's designations in the first post:
  • Be-14
  • Be-976
  • M-62
  • S-13
I would appreciate any info and picture for these!

Hi Stargazer,

Be-14 was all-weather day/night SAR version,one aircraft was built.
M-62 was the VVA-14 alternative name.
Be-676,Be-776,Be-976 and Be-1076 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beriev_A-50

Hi Stargazer,

Be-976 for example mention in its form in Jane's All The World's Aircraft, various editions,
and The Osprey Encyclopedia of Russian Aircraft books.

Dear Hesham was no such designation as the Be-976 and so on. It was the designation "article 976" just in firm Beriev was completion of IL-76 in the version of the A-50. And mention the book is not a reliable source.

For the book,The Osprey Encyclopedia of Russian Aircraft,it is a very good book from Bill Gunston,
and for example, they spoke about Be-121 an aircraft for scientific research developed
from Be-12,what you think about it ?.

The Be-121 is a Be-12И and the Russian letter "И" and the English "I". This is an elementary mistake.

Be-18 (first with this designation)
- Passenger variant
- Photorecon variant
- Fresh fish carrier

Be-18 second with this designation was very similar to Il-76

Hi ucon ;)

do you have also a 3-view-drawing and some technical data for these Be.18?

Thanks, Maveric

Didn't know about the reuse of the Be-18 designation, ucon. Thanks for the info.

I had these images already, but the third one is described variously as a "fish transport" or a "fish scout." Wrong translation?

Excellent my dear Ucon,

do you have anything about Beriev Be-22 and Be-28 ?and I mean informations,if any.
