I’m sorry gents but this is incorrect.

Blackburn built the R.B.2 Sydney to spec. R.5/27, not the Nile. The Sydney was flown and evaluated in June 1930, one of three prototype three-engined aircraft that were ordered at the same time (Saunders A7 and Supermarine Southampton X), but it did not receive a production contract.

The C.B.2 Nile was designed by Blackburn at the same time and was essentially a civil version of the Sydney powered by Bristol Jupiters. It was intended to use the aircraft on the Alexandria – Cape Town route by a new airline, Cobham-Blackburn Air Lines Ltd. The aircraft was nearly complete when the government vetoed the plans and insisted that all Empire routes would be flown by Imperial Airways. The Nile was never completed.

Thank you my dear Lark,

but why they didn't discover this project before ?,I mean by "they",all Authors
who spoke about Blackburn aircraft, even Putnam !.

Probably because they couldn't sit in front of a computer trawling the 'net and
with the click of a mouse access archives of dusty old magazines that have
been scanned in and made available to the world at large.
;)

It used to be a whole hell of a lot harder to collect information.

Ah, but it is in the Putnam book, it is project C.A.10 airliner submitted to Imperial Airways in 1928. This design was then modified as troopcarrier T.C.1 to specification C.16/28. However neither type is actually illustrated in the book, just described in brief.

The second layout drawing is of a larger Blackburn project, a six-engine flying boat that was unofficially known as the Oceanic

Looking briefly in the Blackburn archives I see that the project actually started under designation C.E.2E and was included in the same technical specification as the Nile. For some reason the outer engines were on the underside of the wing, which led to complaints from the commercial department as it would not be interchangeable with that for the Nile.
