Some interesting TzAGI WT models

You surely have seen some of these screenshots at Paralay site - here they go in better quality and in enriched list.
All stuff goes from Russian RTR channel 2002 documentary entitled 'The Fifth Generation' so you must set timeframe in 2001-2002. Enjoy.
This is well-known Big-Eared something...YF-22ski? Very early PAK-FA? Hell, I dunno. Note F-14 style canopy windshield.

Some unidentified models, apparently one with canards is MFI-related...something very strange with the wings of one of them (cruise missile? uav?)shown from the front side only...arch wing or supersonic biplane - call it as you like to.

Isn't it that magic MIRV stuff that should overcome every ABM system in the world?

If it is maneuverable , then it should be called MARV (Maneuverable Reentry Vehicle).

the model in image-36 looks like a f-18 with a mig product 33 style chin intake.

Are you sure the Spiritsky isn't an Avengerski?
It looks more like a twin engined aircraft with a tandem cockpit to me, but being a wind tunnel model, who really knows? Tell them to paint more detail on it on it next time!
Great pictures, though. It's interesting to see some of the variations of wind tunnel models they've tried.

On some reasons I'm not willing to disclose, I'm sure that it's not Avengersky.
Some logic can draw you to the same conclusion - look at the wing taper and include the fact that Soviet aircraft carriers were never supposed to perform strike operations at the land. They were designed as giant Air Defense Ships (ADS). Anyway, even if this role to be widened, navalized Frogfoots (and, in some not well-healed brains, Fencers) would perform as carrier's strike wing. Already then it was clear that we just have no money for dedicated Navy tactical aircraft program.

The Sukhoi FSW model dates back to at least 1993/4 period, when it was seen by visitors (French journalists seems to spring to mind) and formed the basis of early S-32 artists impressions.

It sure does - an E-model to be exact!
Thanks flateric for posting those, the MARV is quite interesting in that it uses aerodynamic flaps for control, like US designs. Earlier Soviet era MARV tests were based on pressure-fed divert engines according to Mark Wade.

Image037 shows a Routenflugel-style joined wing design on the left.
