Hi,

the Alon company was formed in 1963,and began with A-2 aircraft,which was a a development
of ERCO Ercoupe,the A-3 was an A-2A,but fitted with 130 hp Franklin engine,and had a two-plus-
two cabin,prototype flown but the company didn't progress further with this Model,no available
picture for it.

According to the United States Civil Aircraft Register, Volume 2 - FAA, July 1, 1978 - the Alon A-3 (FAA aircraft code 054-03-04) was a two-seater - not a "two-plus-two". The Lycoming-powered Alon XA-4 prototype (listed by the FAA as the 'X-A4', FAA aircraft code 054-04-04) was the four-seater.

So, the A-3 was effectively an A-2A powered by a 130 hp Franklin O-235 Sport B engine. One question is: was the unbuilt A-3 to have the Alon A-2's sliding canopy, or would it have had the 'gull-wing' door entry of the planned production A-4?
