Hi Guys

Does anyone have information and drawings on the Navy Type 10 Model A and B Reconnaissance Seaplanes? Who was the manufacturer and did it ever achieve production status?

Cheers

Hi! This one? The manufacturer of this seaplane was Yokosho.

Wow!! Blacktite I never can say thanks enough for all the information you bring about Japanese planes.

In 1921(10th of the Taisho era), Yokosho began to design the Navy Type 10 Reconnaissance seaplane with British Short design team.
In 1923, 2 aircrafts were completed, but they were too heavy to use. Later modified light weight B type was made and showed enough performance to satisfy the IJN's requirement and re-designed as 14-shiki reconnaissance seaplane.
Maximum speed : 79 to 85kt, Range : 1125n.m, Engine Lorrane-1 liquid coollng V12 400hp
