Jet pack 6 minute test flight.

Cool...they flew it around the statue of liberty a few days ago.

Don't scratch your nose. From the Red Bull channel so it should be real.

Still at it. I would think your arms will get tired after a few minutes.

Flyboard hover board concept is a neat idea too. However, anything that requires your body to absorb the loads imposed by the thrust system and to change its direction to maintain control would have to be physically taxing. Also a Ballistic Recovery System (BRS) in the future would be a good idea. I can only imagine at the speeds and altitudes that the Jet Pack and hover board are being demonstrated at would result in a very bad day if they had a power system failure.

Richard Browning is a customer of ours, and actually asked if he could use our site for testing. I pointed out that we had a mainly tarmac surface and so he had to look elsewhere eventually.

Jetpack has a new model using 6 turbines (3 per side) for redundancy. A computer provides stability control and automatically re-balances thrust in case one jet goes out. First flight hasn't taken place yet.

New 6 engine jet pack which has been granted "experimental" category status as opposed to "ultralight". Apparently this clears away some restrictive legal limits on how much you can do when flying.
