I need more info about Type of aircraft carried on Essex class carrier during WWII : i have seen exactly type of aircraft for Indipendence Class , but no more for others like Essex Class . For Japanese Aircraft Carrier is always reported the type of aircraft carried : for Akagi carrier is report 91 aircraft or 66 + 25 of reserve :
21 Zero (A6M ) , 18 Val ( Aichi D3A ) and 21 B5N

There was no single standard; air groups changed considerably from the beginning of the war to the end.

TomS is right, I think you will find that your Japanese information is also incomplete. It may be possible to determine the aircraft complement of a particular ship or even the typical complement of ships that class at a specific moment in time, say a particular battle.

bingo : http://www.steelnavy.com/essex_data.htm
very detailed !!
http://www.steelnavy.com/essex_data.htm#CV-14%20USS%20Ticonderoga

Generally for Essex was 36 Fighters , 36 SBD Bombers and 18 TBF

;)

I am sorry but you seem to be reading that information differently than I am. From your link, here is complement for USS Ticonderoga and how it varied over the course of WWII:

CV-14 WWII Aircraft History

Air Group 80 VF-80 73 F6F June 1944 - January 1945
VNF-105 6 F6F-5N
VB-80 22 SB2C
VT-80 16 TBM

Air Group 80 VF-80 68 F6F January 1945 - May 1945
3 F6F-5N
2 F6F-5P
VB-80 22 SB2C
VT-80 16 TBM

Air Group 87 VF-87 F6F May 1945
VB-87 SB2C
VT-87 TBM

Some of those groups look physically impossible. Air Group 80 has almost 120 aircraft, including 22 very large SB2Cs, I can't help but wonder if those are squadron strengths and only some aircraft were embarked.
