hi, I've seen the land rover mk2 with a rig with a half track design and im wondering about getting the same sort of thing for my uses. I suppose is there any availability for purchasing track or even rigs for vehicle's these days? im in aust. but just reading it seems there's not much about since 1980. do you know of more modern built equipment available to the public?
 
A Canadian outfit called "Soucy" makes them also. They also have full rubber tracks for the M-113 in case you want to make your APC street legal.

funny I used to drive apc`s in the aust. army and these don't remind me of the vehicle, even more astonishing the usage for tracks onvehicles etc aren't half as known round about`s here as much as it should be.

These (or similar products) seem popular in the ski villages for when winter tyres aren't quite enough.
 
B) yes I can see that, The actual right gear for fitting may be a job to get them on my vw transporter but the hope is there. lots to choose from that's for sure.
