F-35B Short Takeoff & Vertical Landing Practice

Great video. Next i'd really love to see some rolling touch downs. Though chances for that are slim, i guess. Maybe past 2020, courtesy of RAF/RN planes.

$24 million? Pocket change considering how much value there will be from a training perspective. No 2-seater F-35s (thank God) like there are Harriers. (Not to mention that $24 million is a HELL of a lot cheaper than adding a 2-seater STOVL aircraft to the program.)

Interesting that there are TWO simulated aircraft carrier landing decks. I wonder where they're located in relation to the one that's been there for over a decade? (Old one is at 32.33.01, 114.30.34)
