If you're talking about the form of the ALBACORE, the design. I agree.

If you're talking about the model ... it is NOT art. It's an assembled model kit any idiot can slap together; it's craft.

I must say that you give yourself way to little credit. The model is made sublimely! Even if it's a kit, it's an art to make a work of art out of it!
 
Indeed, good craftsmanship can be said to be art in it's self.
