It's the English translation of 'Kampfflugzeuge und Aufklärer', published by Bernard & Graefe in 1989. Volume 15 in their 'Die Deutsche Luftfahrt' series.

If it's anything like the other volumes: scholarly, reasonably thorough, unadventurously but clearly laid out. So far, all the volumes I have bought from the German series are great value for money.
 
Arjen, I did know the German heritage of the book. AFAIK 6 volumes from the series have been translated into English: 4 by Schiffer, one by Putnam and one by Midland.
