Replacement for Model Master Ultra Gloss Clearcoat?

Hi,

I've been instructed to use the Model Master Ultra Gloss Clearcoat for transparrent parts, but it is not available in Finland. What would you suggest as a replacement?

Use Pledge Premium Finish with Future Shine which is made by SC Johnson - it is virtually pure acrylic. This is the name in the USA and it used to go by the names Future in the USA and Klear in other parts of the world. It comes in a large bottle which should outlast your model building career :)

You can brush it on or airbrush it unthinned. For clear parts you just put some in a suitably sized cup and dip the clear parts into it. Then carefully draw off the excess by lightly touching the lower part of the clear part on a paper towel to wick off the excess acrylic.
