At first glance, yes. But, when you consider that the SpaceX 'capsule' and stages will be reused (and return to site of launch, not in the drink), you have a real game changer.

The CST-100 is reusable for up to 10 flights and is recovered on the ground.
 
They're hoping for a test flight in 2017.
