Hi,

the Laird Airplane Co. of USA designed a four seat strut-braced high-wing monoplane of 1945,powered by one Continental engine and had a fixed landing gear, remained a project only.

Very nice find, new to me. Thanks! However the title of your topic is misleading, because the text says it was a "pre-war" design that was "resurrected" in 1945, not a 1945 project.

Little known Super Solution? More like best known Laird aircraft. ;D

Both of the photos posted in this thread are from Laird Airplanes: A Legacy of Speed,
Edward H. Phillips, Specialty Press 2003

It's a good book on Matty Laird's career.
