But on an aviation note, (if my memory is corrects, as I cannot seem to locate my source..) I believe that when The Wright Company was incorpoated in 1909, they hired Frank H. Russell, to manage the factory in Dayton Ohio. His previous experience?
He had been the manager of the Talon Zipper company factory. *He also got the job, because he was the nephew of business tycoons, The Alger Bros (Packard and other Companies) who were on the Wright Co. Board of Directors, and major investors.
