That's Replica. There has been one other photo, to my knowledge. I believe I have read somewhere (with related video) that they are preparing it for display.
 
I believe you are correct, the model may have been undergoing "modifications" to render it suitable for public display.... It's not black in colour anymore, so that's one surface modification that we can be sure of ;)
