Hi,

the Timm Aircraft Corporation designed the T-800 in 1935/36,it was high-wing
twin endined medium transport aircraft, remained a project only, and led to
develop the T-840.

Note that, like the 262 Timm N2T-1 trainers used by the U.S. Navy during WWII, the Timm transport used plastic-bonded plywood (Aeromold) construction, an early form of composites.

Hi,

the Timm company built many experimental airplanes from 1911 to 1920,only one
I know,it was a twin engined light aeroplane, but no more details are know,if anyone
can help ?.

Timm aircraft built include (first flight and numbers built in parenthesis):
The Skylark, a twin engine biplane transport (1923, 1). Some sources indicate this was a reengined variant of the Pacific Hawk mentioned above.
The Argonaut, a single engine cabin biplane (1927, 1).
Curtiss Pusher replicas, featuring metal framework instead of the original wooden (1927, 2).
The Aircoach, a single engine cabin biplane with a capacity of 5 pax (1928, 1).
The Collegiate, which was a series of two seat aircraft built with a number of different powerplants (1928, 8).
The T-S140 was the first aircraft to be built by the new company formed when Otto Timm was joined by his brother Wally. It was a twin engine monoplane transport and paved the way for the later T-800, featuring flaps and a tricycle undercarriage (1934, 1).
The Timm 160 which was a variant of the Kinner B-2R Sportster fitted with a 160hp Kinner R-5 engine, built after the collapse of the Kinner company (1937, 4).
The Timm Aerocraft 2AS was yet another variant of a Kinner aircraft, in this case the Sportwing, which featured side-by side 2 seat configuration. Timm modified the aircraft to a tandem layout to compete in the Civilian Pilot Training Programme (sorry that should be Program, but I'm British!!) It lost out to a Fairchild design with the design rights of the type being passed to Aetna (1938, 6).
The Timm 840 is described previously (1938, 1).
The Timm S-160 was the original prototype monoplane trainer, which was later designated the PT-160K, and was to lead to the production type, the N2T (1940, 1).
Prior to the N2T there was two variations, the PT-175K and the PT-220C, which differed in the powerplants. Additionally the PT-220, also featured a larger tail, and it was in this form that the N2T was to enter production.
The next Timm design was the XAG-2, which competed with the Christopher XAG-1 in a competition for an armed assault glider featuring two 0.50in and two 0.30in machine guns together with rocket launchers, and carrying six troops. The idea was to have the armed assault gliders land in front of the troop carrying examples to soften up and secure the landing sites. The idea was abandoned in September 1943 with no examples being built of either of the competitors.
As well as building 434 examples of the WACO CG-4A, the Timm Aircraft Corporation also built a single example of the XCG-4B, which featured a plywood construction method.
There is also reference to a Monoplane design of which I have no information.
Here's some pics of some of the type listed above.

Although this is not one of the the two Curtiss Pusher replicas, it is an original Curtiss Pusher built by Otto Timm back in 1911. A a side note, one of the two replicas was flown in a spirited display by Charles Lindbergh, who had not only received his first flight with Otto Timm, but was also trained to fly by him.

Finally the most improbable design of the Timm Aircraft Company, the XAG-2.

Isn't it always the way, the other post-war aircraft which Otto Timm was involved with was the Tallmantz Phoenix P-1, used in the original (and the best version) of the film Flight of the Phoenix, starring the great Jimmy Stewart. The Phoenix P-1, unfortunately only had a short life being involved in the crash that claimed the life of famed stunt pilot Paul Mantz.
