wonderful, how we forget this old topic !.

I'm getting worried now. I hope it didn't get accidentally erased during some merging or splitting of old topics. This doesn't normally happen, and definitely shouldn't, but I'm at a loss to explain where this old thread on SNCASE X-... projects could have gone to. My own searching produced no results either... :-[

but it is not working, why ?.
You usually get this message when a topic was merged into another one. Hope that's what happens and we're going to find it.

You mean like this?
Is it just me or does the bar seem to be a prominent feature in this design?

I think that the SNCASE X.200/20 cutaway must just be a promotional doodle since the lower deck arrangement doesn't seem to make any allowance for wing carry through structure.

That's right.

developed Caravelle to be advanced one.

any concept of the prototype? why did they decided to go with a comet nose?

drawing of the prototype with some difference to the real one (no antenna on the drawing) and models. Notice the difference between the interior of the drawing and model next to it

"Avion présidentiel" = "France Air Force One", if you prefer. An aircraft for the President.

Premier déplacement officiel d'une Caravelle.

Le prototype 02 F-BHHI fera le voyage à Alger pour la visite du général De Gaulle .
Must have been 1958.

F-BHHI was a standard Caravelle airliner that was used to ferry De Gaulle to Algiers.
The picture shown says "project to turn it into a full blown Presidential Aircraft".
